ash is a first-generation, queer, Cuban, Korean, and FIlipino writer, director, actor, and producer. He got his start in media working at BuzzFeed from 2013-2018. In 2020, they published a book called “Read This For Inspiration” with Clarkson Potter, in addition to working as a Senior Producer on the Biden/Harris Presidential campaign. He wrote for television on “good trouble,” “home economics,” and most recently development a half-hour comedy pilot called “the youngest one” for abc. in 2024 he joined the try guys as an official cast member of 2nd try, where he starred in and produced his new show “new guy tries.”
ash is currently finishing his first audio original, “speak now,” a rom-com publishing with simon & schuster audio in 2025.
